Nov 10,2012 My 25th Bday to February 11,2013! In 3months I've went from a 3X in dresses, 2X in all tops, 36-40 jeans & size 11 in shoes to a size 12 in dresses, an L/XL in tops, 13/14 in jeans and a size 10 in shoes. I wore a size 12 coat yesterday for church & I started to tear up for I bought this coat 3years ago n now I'm finally able to put it on& button it up with ease. I'm not finished yet but I must say I want to give a hug thanks to you Rachel& the Zumba family for encouraging me to want to press on for it was a huge struggle and I praise God for changing my mind set and putting me n a positive environment to complete my transformation. Thank You :)

Rachel, your class is heaven sent. I’d been dieting without much luck because I couldn’t find an exercise routine that I would stick to. I began Club Rachel regularly in April and by August I’d lost 36 lbs! Today is Nov. 1 and I am beginning my second phase of weight loss. Once again Rachel I would like to thank you. It's been over a year now and I still LOVE coming to Club Rachel. Since I started my weight loss journey I have lost 69 pounds and dropped 4 dress sizes thanks to Zumba, strength training and Weight Watchers. It's nothing like shopping for clothes in a smaller size!

For years I have been looking for something that will make me get up off the couch and move. Well I have found it. Zumba and the Club Rachel instructors are the best. In December of 2011 I had weight loss surgery. With having to lose over 100 lbs. I didn't know how it was going to come off. My co-worker invited me out to a class in January 2012 and I have been coming ever since. I have lost 54lbs., and feel great. I love the energy and dance moves, and music Rachel brings to each and every class. I am getting a fantastic workout while having fun. Thank you Club Rachel Zumba Fitness for helping me.

I truly believe that it was my destiny to find Club Rachel and my Zumba family last November. I was at a turning point in my life and was at my heaviest weight ever. Rachel saved my life! My health was twirling out of control. Being a 7 year breast cancer survivor you would have thought I would have gotten control of my body/health. I didn't. I put on 40 pounds after my treatments. It was only when I was hospitalize on Christmas Eve (2011), unable to see and getting another diease diagnose (diabetes), that I knew I had to do something. I've been coming to Rachel's classes since January. I fell in love during the first class! All I talk about is Rachel. I had my 3 month check-up with my doctor yesterday and he was amazed with my 17 pounds weight lose and more importantly my blood glucose number went from 9.4 to 6.8! I no longer take insulin or two pills a day. I only take one. My blood pressure & cholesterol are normal again. I still have another 20 pounds to go. I know Rachel Zumba and my healthy eating will help me reach my goal. I am so grateful and bless that I have another chance to get my health right!! See you at Zumba!!

Hi Rachel! I started Weight Watchers in January 2011 and added Zumba in June 2011. As of last week I lost 50 pounds. It took me a little over a year to accomplish it but it was worth it. Thanks to you and WW I feel great! My daughter and I love the class and we look forward to it every week! :)

Rachel: I am a Zumbaholic, a true Zumbaholic. I have soooo much fun in your class. I come every Tuesday and Thursday and am amazed of the number of people that will stand in line to get in your class. My friends are amazed because all my life I have been fighting health issues,and now need a third hand to count the number of surgeries that I have had. Since signing up for Club Rachel for approximately one year,there's been significant changes in my health. My blood pressure is under control, no need for daily medication, only as needed. My cholesterol is under control, no medication needed. And most of all, I've lost several pounds. Along with zumba, proper foods, and lots of water,I did it. When I first started Rachel's zumba, I was approximately 160 pounds,feeling heavy and sluggish with no energy. Presently I'm approximately 148 pounds, hiting 150 sometimes depending on my eating. If you want to burn calories while having fun, meeting new people and get heathier you definitively need to attend Rachel's Zumba class. Last class I burned 1200 calories in an hour. Isn't that awsome? I have been to other Zumba classes, but Rachel's class is the BEST. I just love it!!!

I'm so grateful to my daughter-in-law for introducing me to Club Rachel. I started my zumba journey in the summer of 2010, but took a hiatus until the summer of 2011. I am still on a high from Tuesday's class. The thump of the music continues to play in my head.

It was such a compliment to hear you say I was mirroring your moves. I work hard on replicating what you do and study your movements intently. You set the bar high.

There is so much I want to express without sounding corny. But the truth of the matter is that I derive so much geninue plesure from the class. Its pure and unexpected.

You inspire and motivate me to be my best. It goes beyond your skill and energy: there is a connection I feel with you when dancing. The closest I can compare it to is like your favoriate entertainer on stage connecting with the audience. Nothing else matters for that hour.

On behalf of the whole class, I thank you for the passionate way you instruct and giving 100% of yourself. Club Rachel Rocks!!!

If you're looking for a fun-filled way to incorporate exercise into your life, consider giving Zumba a try. I started Zumba a few months ago and I cannot say enough about Rachel’s class. She is awesome. I have tried a few different instructors but it is not the same. She has a teaching style that is joyful, motivating & non-intimidating. Rachel turns an hour of exercise into a celebration of movement and a path to better health.

Dear PRC - Thanks for the complement. I am glad you enjoy my classes. I mentor other instructors and allow them to participate in my classes so they may gain experience teaching in front of a class. Many of them eventually move on to teach their own classes at other facilities. I'll be mindful of your feelings and will to try to have a better balance in the future. Please note I will start teaching at Glenn Dale on Saturdays at 10:00 starting July 23. (On July 16 Jamilah will teach my class so I may attend a family reunion.)

I can’t get enough of Zumba today because of you!

I first got into Zumba a little over 2 years ago and would’ve never thought I’d have this much fun and passion for it :) Once again you succeeded to introduce me to something new and it has become my #1 form of exercise as I’m getting the most workouts out of Zumba!

I remember when I’d follow you around to the different Zumba events and classes, and when you used to commute to VA from MD just so you can attend what was then one of the best Zumba classes known in the DMV area. You took what you learned and started your own class in MD, and now Club Rachel Zumba in Bowie, MD is one of the largest and fun filled classes being offered, and people commute to MD from VA and other locations just to be a part of your exciting class!

You’re my role model Rachel Brackett who continues to inspire me in the 20+ years we’ve been friends. Just like everything else, once again you’ve made a positive impact in my life and thanks to you & Zumba, I love how I feel!

You encouraged me to take Zumba to the next level and get certified to be an instructor myself as much as I was doing it on a weekly basis, so I went out and got my Zumba certification on 9/11/10. I went from not knowing Zumba, to wanting to do it all the time, to being a certified instructor, all because of you! Your Club Rachel Zumba organization has allowed me and other instructors take advantage of the opportunity you offer to learn from your teaching techniques in preparation to someday peruse our own classes and give back to our communities just as you give to your community.

Rachel, I was introduced to your class last July and I love it! I was never that disciplined with exercising because it always felt like work but I really enjoy food so I must stay active. I have been pre-registered from the start because I want a guaranteed spot in the class no matter what. I don't miss a class unless I am on travel and I have scheduled my travel itinerary to have me land at a reasonable time so I can make it to class that evening, if possible. (LOL!!!)Your smile and positive energy is always present. I really have enjoyed meeting new friends who have become like family in a short period of time. I starter doing zumba about 2 years ago with the DV's at home, till a friend told me about your zumba class close to my house. When I first starting zumba a year ago this month I was 207 pds and very unhappy, with a good diet plan and zumba I am 35 plus smaller.
